We are seeking a Product Manager to join our dynamic team. We at Z Corporation depend on our Product Managers to help define the future of 3D printing – a relatively new, fast-growing and intriguing market.  Other responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing a range of projects, both small and large, that involve a number of our products. 

Examples could be: managing a project to support multiple languages in our desktop software (or other new features) with an internal software team to managing a roadmap of improvements on a major hardware line with an OEM partner company over a 12-18 month horizon.

• Conduct market research and presenting conclusions to improve the company’s knowledge about current and future customers.
  
• Provide input to VPs and CEO on product strategy decisions based on expert knowledge of the products you are working on and general market information.
  
• Help communicate and train product information with the sales force and work directly with key customers.
  
• Some travel to customer and dealer sites will be required

Education/Experience:

• BS in Engineering (prefer mechanical) and MBA.
  
• 3-5 years engineering experience (mechanical preferred) with increasing responsibility.  Should have demonstrated success managing technical projects. 
• Some product management or marketing experience desired.
  
• Hands on attitude – We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and accomplish various tasks just as much as they are to manage the entire project. 
  
• Solid interpersonal skills – This role requires you to interact positively with employees at all levels, external partners, prospects, and customers to accomplish projects.
  
• Experience with MCAD software and knowledge of the rapid prototyping industry is a plus.
  
• PMP or comparable certification a plus.
